The webinar will help small business owners enroll in the marketplace so they can start receiving coverage through Connect for Health Colorado soon. Here are some of the topics the webinar will guide you through:
  • The SHOP Marketplace in Colorado—how it works, what businesses qualify, and how using SHOP can benefit you and your employees
  • SHOP procedures, including eligibility, application, enrollment, employee communications and more
  • Workplace wellness programs and how they can benefit small business owners and their workers
  • Get organized with your employee list, health insurance budget and a target date to start coverage

Emily develops and maintains strategic relationships with business owners and organizations statewide to educate them about issues that impact the small business community. Emily previously served as a Health Coverage Guide at Small Business Majority, leading the organization's efforts to educate Front Range business owners about the state's healthcare marketplace. Prior to joining the organization, Emily worked at Colorado's Department of Healthcare Policy & Financing, and at the Bauman Foundation in Washington, D.C. Emily is conversational in Spanish.
