Meeting Description:
Important medical research links creative endeavors, such as expressive writing or painting, to reduced symptoms and improved health. Join Janet Stone, active artist and PH patient, and Megan Mallory, PHA's Associate Director of Publications, as they provide you with ideas, prompts and tips regarding creative expression for your health. This webinar will also include open time to share your own creative endeavors with the group.

Janet was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary hypertension in 2008. She has worked as a patient advocate since the 1980s and currently maintains a website and international forum for a rare genetic muscle disease. She is a personal trainer and nutritional consultant living in Colorado and enjoys photography and painting as creative expression.

Megan is the Associate Director of Publications at the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. She serves as PHA's primary writer, editor and graphic designer and coordinates the production and publication of PHA's newsletters - including Pathlight and PHANews - and other publication materials.
