Harvey serves as co-chair of the firm’s Employee Benefits & Compensation Practice. His practice focuses on all aspects of pension, executive compensation and employee benefits law. During his 33-year legal career, Harvey’s practice has included an extremely broad array of sophisticated employee benefits issues for public and private companies.
Thirty-four years experience with all aspects of employee benefit plans, including pension, profit sharing and 401(k) plans. Extensive expericence with non-qualified deferred compensation and equity based executive compensation plans, including severance agreeements and arrangements for tax-exempt organizations.
Harvey's experience includes representation of ESOP trustees and sponsors in numerous transactions, working with governmental employers to develop trusts for Other Post Employment Benefits (OPEB) to comply with GASB 43 and 45, and representation of employer in connection with Multi-employer withdrawal liability.
