Are you concerned about invasive plants on your wooded land? Do you want to be part of the solution? Vermont woodland owners, this webinar is for you!

This webinar will focus on identification of common invasive plant species in Vermont such as barberry, buckthorns, honeysuckles, multiflora rose, and bittersweet. It will also cover how the invasive plants impact your woods and the wildlife that inhabit it. Finally, it will provide next steps for you to begin to tackle invasive plants on your own land.

Elizabeth Spinney

Elizabeth has worked for Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation (FPR) since 2014, starting as part of the Habitat Restoration Crew and is now in a role as the Invasive Plant Coordinator for FPR out of Essex. She works with communities, organizations, and even with other state agencies to provide information about the impact of invasive terrestrial plants, and connect those people to resources to take action. When Elizabeth isn’t pulling up invasive plants, she can be found gardening, birding, crocheting, or exploring Vermont!
