Live Web Event With James Howard Kunstler on Cities of the Future: July 12

Meeting Description:
Join a dialogue hosted by Orion magazine on the future of our cities with futurist and author James Howard Kunstler on July 12 at 7 PM Eastern, 4 PM Pacific.

What will our urban centers look like as the climate warms, the global economy changes, and fossil fuels become increasingly scarce?  Will they get bigger, or will they contract? Will they still be livable? Kunstler writes about this in the July/August issue of Orion, and this live web event is a unique opportunity to hear him expand on some of these themes and discuss some hopeful alternatives promoted by the new urbanism movement. He will also answer listener questions.

The event will be moderated by Orion staff and is free, but registration is required.
