Navigating the Insurance Appeal Maze. How to win and get coverage

Meeting Description:

Join us for the Reeve Foundation Paralysis Community' Live Better series:

We invite you to join the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation to learn more about the health insurance appeals process, tips for a successful appeal, and resources available to help you navigate the process.

If you are living with paralysis, you understand the important role health insurance plays in ensuring access to care. Unfortunately, even if you have insurance, you may face a situation where your insurer refuses to pay for the health care providers, services, equipment and/or medications you need.

And although you have the right to appeal an insurer’s decision not to pay, the process of appealing a claims denial can be confusing, frustrating and time-consuming.

Luckily, you don't have to do it alone.
