Meeting Description:
The NYC Macroscope team developed and validated a new surveillance system based on data from electronic health records, an effort that began in 2012. This presentation will describe the study to validate the NYC Macroscope system for use by the public health department, and to assess generalizability of NYC Macroscope indicators beyond the unique NYC Macroscope context.
