Robert LaChausse, PhD

Dr. Robert LaChausse is a professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at California Baptist University (CBU). After 14 years on the faculty of California State University, San Bernardino, he served a 4-year term as department chairman at CBU. Now on parole from department chair duties, he returned to teaching, research, and service fulltime where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in health education and promotion, health behavior, research methods, statistics, and program evaluation. His research interests are in the areas of alcohol, tobacco, and drug prevention, STD/teen pregnancy prevention, obesity prevention, adolescent delinquency, and parent-child relationships. His research has been published in  the Journal of Adolescent Health, American Journal of Health Education, Health Promotion Practice, and the Journal of Immigrant Health.
