Laurie Call serves as the Director of the Center for Community Capacity Development at the Illinois Public Health Institute.  In this role, Laurie provides training and consultation services to state and local health departments and other community health partners on community health assessment, community health improvement planning, strategic planning, quality improvement, performance management and public health accreditation readiness. Call leads the development of the NACCHO Strategic Planning Guide for local health departments and co-authored the ASTHO State Health Assessment Guide for state health departments and CDC’s NPHPS Implementation Guide. Call brings over 23 years of experience in providing technical assistance, developing and delivering training and facilitating systems improvement.

Director, Immunization Services

Oklahoma State Department of Health


Lori Linstead has been the Director of Immunization Service with the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) since June 2013. However, Lori spent over 22 years at the Oklahoma Department of Human Services gaining extensive administrative and management experience in the areas of child care licensing, public awareness, community development and communications. The majority of Lori’s professional career has been spent in the field of early childhood where her efforts have focused and continue to focus around ensuring that all children and their families have the support systems necessary for success in school and in life.  She was instrumental in the development of Smart Start Oklahoma, a product of the Oklahoma Partnership for School Readiness.
