Meeting Description:

The Mission to Care FHA HIIN Chasing Zero Infections Series provides participating HIIN hospitals with the latest information, practices and assistance in eliminating hospital acquired infections (HAI). The Series is led by nationally recognized infection prevention expert, Linda Greene, RN, MPS, CIC, FAPIC, and includes both didactic webinars focused on clinical evidence with practical strategies, and interactive coaching webinars that offer an opportunity for participants to ask questions of the subject matter expert, and network and collaborate with other hospitals with the goal of learning key strategies to test and adopt for reducing infections.

The topic for the Chasing Zero Infections Coaching Call (webinar) on Aug. 14 is an interactive discussion on: Sustaining Zero Infections: Stop the "Whack a Mole" Syndrome.

Continuing Education:
FHA is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Florida State Board of Nursing under Provider No. NCE2972. Eligibility for CEUs requires submission of an evaluation survey for each participant requesting continuing education. Licensed Florida nurses will receive a certificate of participation for 1.0 hours of continuing nursing education
