Meeting Description:

This webinar is designed to help any allied health professional who wants to present research or clinical findings at a professional meeting.  Lisa Wheeler, MT is the research coordinator for Dr. James Loyd at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine.  She will bring her experience co-authoring many scientific abstracts and publications to help guide allied health professionals through the process of writing an abstract and presenting a poster.

Lisa is the research coordinator for Dr. James Loyd at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine.  The primary focus of her team’s work has been on the genetics of pulmonary arterial hypertension, although, they are expanding beyond that into metabolic risk factors and other potential disease modifiers.  Lisa’s role at Vanderbilt includes serving as a liaison between the researchers and patients and family members.  She’s co-authored numerous scientific abstracts and publications, and has been an active member of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association since its inception.
