Hear from Dr. Lois Ramondetta of MD Anderson, and Dr. Virginia Moyer of Texas Children's Hospital, about cervical screening guidelines for 2012.


The topic will be covered over a lifespan, with information for women of all ages. You'll receive background information on cervical cancer, information on on how cervical screening guidelines are created, and recent recommendations on cervical cancer screening from the US Preventive Services Task Force. Q&A will follow the webinar and all listeners are encouraged to participate. Bring your questions!

Dr. Lois Ramondetta and Dr. Virginia Moyer
Dr. Lois M. Ramondetta joined the MD Anderson Gynecologic Oncology Department in 2000. She holds a full time Professor Faculty position at MD Anderson Cancer Center and she is currently the Chief of Gynecologic Oncology at Lyndon Baines Johnson General Hospital, Harris County Hospital District. She has published over 70 peer reviewed articles and authored many book chapters on cancer treatment and palliative care. 

Virginia Moyer is Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of Academic General Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital, where she was also the first Chief Medical Quality Officer from 2009-2011. She is the current chair of the United States Preventive Services Task Force.  Dr. Moyer is author of more than 90 scientific articles and chapters and is Editor of the book Evidence Based Pediatrics and Child Health.
