Ryan Gembala chairs the Food & Beverage Industry practice group at the law firm of O’Toole, McLaughlin, Dooley & Pecora in Cleveland, Ohio.  Mr. Gembala has been an industry leader in understanding the requirements, nuance, and consequences of the Food Safety Modernization Act and the corresponding federal regulations.  His work includes regulatory compliance and consulting, federal investigation and audit response, and litigation.  His clients – which range from Fortune 100 companies to closely held family businesses – include food dealers and wholesalers, restaurants and hospitality businesses, and transportation companies.  In addition to his legal work, he is a speaker and regular author on food safety, legal compliance, and liability for food and beverage companies and executives.
