MSAA is spotlighting “The Mind, Body, and MS Connection” as this year’s theme for MS Awareness Month. We invite you to register for our free, live webinar “The Importance of Wellness Care in MS” on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 7 – 8 pm Eastern.

During this one-hour program, MS experts Mary Rensel, MD and Amy Sullivan, PsyD of the Cleveland Clinic will discuss the integration of mind/body wellness strategies into daily activities to improve MS management and overall quality of life. Topics include:

  • Defining wellness and understanding its impact on MS
  • Learning to better manage common symptoms of MS through improved diet, exercise, stress reduction/mindfulness
  • Developing an important understanding of the mind-body connection and how the mind influences the body
  • Describing brain health and its importance to managing a chronic illness such as MS
  • Recognizing the impact of comorbidities and steps to proactively manage overall health

Following the presentation, participants are encouraged to ask their questions to Drs. Rensel and Sullivan via a live chat feature on the webinar platform.
