Using real-world examples, Texas.gov will share helpful hints, tips, and best practices you can put into action to strengthen your web presence and encourage constituents to use your online services. In this presentation, we’ll address the following:

This Texas.gov webinar is part of the Technology Today Series (TTS) sponsored by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR).  DIR will award one hour of continuing education credit to those participating.

Erika Whitt is the Marketing Manager for Texas.gov and has led marketing, advertising, and communication initiatives for the Texas.gov/TexasOnline program since 2006. Erika has more than 17 years of diverse marketing experience for companies in the computer hardware, test and measurement, and healthcare industries, as well as local government and higher education organizations.


Jennifer Klempay

Jennifer Klempay is the Sr. Marketing Associate for Texas.gov and has led marketing initiatives on behalf of Texas.gov state and local government partners since 2006. She has a special interest in developing metric-driven marketing plans and utilizing web analytics to measure results. Jennifer uses a variety of analytics tools to monitor and interpret the performance of applications and drives continual improvement of online customer experience.

Lisa Carrell

Lisa Carrell joined the Marketing team at Texas.gov in June 2011. Prior to that, she managed the marketing communications efforts for a medical device company where she gained extensive experience in all areas of marketing. One of her primary roles at Texas.gov is managing the social media program and keeping Texas.gov current in the rapidly changing environment of social media.
