This interactive webinar provides various opportunities and examples to identify the health care professionals and workers are a vital part of improving health care access.  The Hispanic Healthcare Worker Model recognizes that access to quality health care services and information is integral to improving the health outcomes of Latinos. At the end of the webinar participants will understand how we can improve access to care and integrate health promotion communications and materials in a culturally appropriate way to HIV/AIDS.


-          Describe the cultural concepts of Respeto & Personalismo, and the Theory of Reasoned Action, as the core of the Hispanic Healthcare Worker Model

-          Discuss best practices on mobilizing health care workers to improve access to care for Hispanic communities

-          Understand the important role of community mobilization and partnership between health care workers and the community for quality care services
