On the Go: Complete Streets and Public Transportation

Meeting Description:

A balanced transportation system should provide travel options for all citizens and contribute positively to health and environmental sustainability. Equitable transportation policy prioritizes investments in travel modes that promote access to opportunity, physical activity, and environmental quality—specifically, public transportation, walking, and bicycling. This session will highlight strategies for effective advocacy and implementation of complete streets policies and offer advice for ensuring that access to public transportation and active living opportunities are equitably provided to all communities.
