Karla Ahern first served as a project manager for IRI, and worked on-site at PepsiCo, before moving on to Knowledge Networks (now owned by Gfk), where she focused on custom research within media, CPG, and pharmaceuticals. Prior to Burtch Works, she led the Midwest business development and digital media effectiveness programs for Dimestore Media (also now part of GfK).

Kit Nordmark worked in the marketing research industry with a focus in qualitative research, most recently at Kantar Consulting (formerly known as The Futures Company). Prior to that, she was a research director at TRU — a boutique insights firm specializing in the youth demographic.
