  • Tools and resources available for small businesses interested in learning more about the law.

Jessica Stone, Outreach Manager
 
Jessica Stone manages healthcare outreach to the states out of Small Business Majority's Washington, DC office where she builds strong relationships with business and other organizations across the country. Prior to joining Small Business Majority, she served as the principal healthcare policy advisor for U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu, Chair of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee. She was part of the senator's team that worked on the Affordable Care Act and its small business provisions. Jessica has also worked on several U.S. Senate campaigns in Florida, North Carolina and Louisiana.

Richard Furlong, Senior Stakeholder Liaison, Internal Revenue Service
 
Mr. Furlong is a Senior Stakeholder Liaison in the Mid-Atlantic Area Stakeholder Liaison office of the Internal Revenue Service Small Business/Self-Employed Division. Stakeholder Liaison serves as the primary IRS liaison office to collaborate with small business groups, industry associations and tax practitioner organizations throughout the country. The mission of IRS Stakeholder Liaison is to engage both the business and tax practitioner community and provide information about IRS policies, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with the tax laws.

Erin Gill-Ninehouser, Education and Outreach Coordinator for PHAN
 
Erin Gill-Ninehouser currently serves as the Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Health Access Network in Western PA, where she works to build a strong, grassroots movement for high-quality, stable, affordable health care. Erin's focus is on educating and activating working families and small businesses to advocate for a health care system that puts their needs first. Prior to joining PHAN, Erin worked on state legislative issues in Pennsylvania and federal election campaigns. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a dual degree in Sociology and Political Science and currently resides in Pittsburgh.
