Learning for Impact

Meeting Description:

CNJG is partnering with PEAK Grantmaking to provide values-based grantmaking as a three-part series. This series began with the 2018 Annual Meeting and Holiday Luncheon Pre Meeting Workshop and will continue with two webinars in 2019. Translating values such as leadership, collaboration, and inclusion into practice can be a challenge for grantmakers. Today, foundations, now more than ever, are up for that challenge. Follow this series to explore how putting philanthropy’s core values into practice can help your foundation and its grantees thrive.

How do grantmaker’s values show up in their efforts to learn with and through grantees? PEAK Grantmaking’s research looks at how this shows up in grant agreements, modificiations, and reporting. We’ll also talk about opportunities to lessen the burden on nonprofits while increasing your learning opportunities.
