SHAREing Omeka in the Web of Digital Scholarship

Meeting Description:
This webinar will describe the outcome of a recent pilot project sponsored by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and Penn State University Libraries that explored distributed digital humanities assets. The presenters will share practical workflows for scraping Omeka sites in order to curate metadata for discoverability.
This webinar is part of a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) grant to ARL, "Integrating Digital Humanities into the Web of Scholarship with SHARE." With NEH's generous sponsorship, this grant seeks to identify ways that existing tools and services can help make it easier to discover and link the many distributed assets created when scholars publish works of digital scholarship.
