Denise Nowack, RD

Denise Nowack, RD is a nutritionist and certified fitness instructor in Santa Monica, California  For more than 28 years, Denise has designed and provided health and nutrition education programs to individuals, community health organizations, fitness facilities, corporations, medical centers, and universities.  She lectures nationwide and also conducts professional education workshops and symposia for physicians, dietitians, nurses, and fitness professionals. 

Over the past 13 years she has focused her work on those who are living with multiple sclerosis. As the Executive Vice President of Chapter Programs with the Southern California Chapter of the National MS Society she has established and coordinated programs that promote wellness and healthy living for people with MS.   Denise is the author Food for Thought and is a contributing author for the Healthy Living section of Momentum Magazine

Ann Mullinix, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist from Minneapolis, MN and has been a Can Do MS Program Consultant for seventeen years, becoming involved when she worked with Dr. Randy Schapiro at a MS clinic at Riverside Medical Center.  Ann has 20 years experience working in neurological rehabilitation, and is currently working with adult outpatients at Park Nicollet/Methodist Hospital in Minneapolis.
