Dr. Chad Nye, editor of Evidence-Based Practice Briefs, will be presenting a one hour webinar “Evidence-Based Practice: A Clinician’s Tutorial for What Works!” on Thursday, December 16, 2010. Space is limited. Reserve your spot today!

This session will help clinicians make clinical decisions informed by evidence based practices. Information presented will assist clinicians in following systematic review procedures and interpreting the quality of evidence presented.

Prerequisites: Attendance will be offered to SLPs, Psychologists, and other related professionals with prior experience in providing clinical service.

This course is offered for 0.1 ASHA CEUs (Intermediate level, Professional area.)

Chad Nye, PhD, began his career as a Speech-Language Pathologist is the public schools in California.  He completed his doctoral degree at the University of California, Riverside in the area of Learning Disabilities & has been a professor for over 30 years. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Executive Director of the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at the University of Central Florida. Chad is the Editor of the Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Briefs. In addition, he served 5 years as the Editor for the Campbell Collaboration (C2) Education Coordinating Group (ECG) and three years as the Co-Chair of the ECG. 

Chad serves as on the Editorial Board of the Evidence-based Communication Assessment and Intervention journal. He has also taught Master’s and doctoral level courses in evidence based research and practice as well as workshop programs for practicing professionals.
