The Latino Commission on AIDS would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming webinar on implementing Electronic Heatlh Records: 
The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act provides the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) with the authority to establish programs to improve health care quality, safety, and efficiency through the promotion of health IT, including electronic health records (EHR) and private and secure electronic health information exchange. “Meaningful use” is the set of standards defined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) The goal of meaningful use is to promote the spread of EHR to improve health care in the United States.  


During this webinar we will explore using EHR as a tool to improve the quality of care and maintaining an efficient organization. Having a clear plan for implementing EHRs into your organization  is critical to saving in time and money.  We will discuss the steps your organization should take before implementing EHRs and what is needed to meet the standards of meaningful use.
