So you have Rackspace Private Cloud installed and you’re wondering how to spin up an instance?  Before you get started there a few things you need to do.  Join us for a detailed presentation where we will use the Horizon dashboard to prepare and spin up your first OpenStack instance.  This session will specifically cover using the dashboard to upload OpenStack Images into Glance, adding rules to the default Neutron Security Group, creating a new Flavor, creating your SSH keypair, creating Neutron Provider and Tenant Networks, creating Neutron Floating IP Addresses, spinning up your first OpenStack Instance, and testing communication between you and your OpenStack Instance.
