Meeting Description:
This webinar will provide participants with an update on the implementation of the Whole School Whole Community Whole Child (WSCC) model in states and districts across the country, including successes and challenges.  Perspectives and examples will be shared from both CDC’s Healthy Schools and ASCD’s Whole Child initiatives.  Presenters will also provide information on how each organization is promoting, supporting and encouraging the implementation independently and collaboratively.  
This webinar also fills the requirements for our cooperative agreement with the CDC.

Prior to joining the Branch, Ms. Hunt served as the Deputy Director of CDC’s Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH), responsible for the overall management of Division operations and establishing effective working partnerships with key national, federal, and nonprofit organizations working to improve the health of youth.

Sean Slade is the Senior Director of Global Outreach at ASCD, focusing on promoting and expanding the ASCD Whole Child approach across the United States and globally.
Since joining ASCD, Slade has directed the Whole Child and Healthy School Communities programs; led the development of the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model; and directed and moderated the Whole Child Symposia.
