Community Assessment: Part 1 of Program Sustainability Webinar Series

Meeting Description:

Program Sustainability has been defined as a notion for continuation of a program that has the ability to be dynamic rather than flexible.

As we experience the changing landscape in HIV, it is critical for organizations to align program services with the goals and objectives of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy and still meeting the needs of the community in which it serves.  Join us for a 5 part webinar series on Program Sustainability.

We invite you to participate in Part 1 of the Program Sustainability webinar series which will focus on Community Assessments.  Community assessment is a valuable strategy for obtaining a clear picture of your community. It will help you identify local assets as well as problem areas. It can also serve as the starting point for developing a shared vision and strategies for change within the community.

Describe the process of reviewing existing data to justify needs of target population.

Designing and implementing program activities based on data collected from community assessments.
