WEBINAR: What's Next for Small Business Healthcare?

Meeting Description:
Recent news about the Affordable Care Act (also known as “Obamacare”) may have you wondering if the law is still valid, but the ACA is still the law of the land. While a Texas judge presiding over a court challenge to the ACA ruled the law was unconstitutional, this ruling is being challenged and no changes will affect 2019 coverage. Still, many small businesses are wondering what this means for the future of their healthcare. In this presentation, we’ll explain recent changes to the law and how the ACA impacts small businesses. We’ll also provide an overview of both federal and state provisions affecting small businesses and resources and tools for accessing health coverage.
Specific topics include:
  • Overview of the healthcare law
  • Health marketplace updates
  • Small business tax credits (available to businesses and tax-exempt non-profits)—who’s eligible for them and how to claim them
  • Open enrollment for 2019
  • Tools and resources available for small businesses interested in learning more about the law
A question and answer period will follow the presentation.
