The Oregon Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is conducting a study on human trafficking in the sex, agriculture, and forestry industries in Oregon. Specifically, the Committee is seeking to examine civil rights concerns of human trafficking and equal protection violations and discrimination based upon the race, national origin, religion, sex, disability, and age of the victims. Additionally, the Committee will examine the effectiveness of services administered to survivors of human trafficking.
In this two-part webinar, experts will provide an overview on human trafficking and civil rights concerns in these industries. Speakers include:

- Hayley Weedn, Co-author and Researcher for Human Trafficking & Native Peoples in Oregon: A Human Rights
- Christopher Carey, Researcher, Portland State University
