The final webinar in a three-part series, Enforcing and Providing Education on Public Health Laws for PHAB Accreditation, provides attendees with information on how health agencies enforce and communicate information on public health laws. During the webinar, Wisconsin shares information on what, why, and how they’re enforcing their public health laws, and examples of documented activities for accreditation. This webinar also provides pertinent information on PHAB Standard 6.2 – "Educate Individuals and Organizations on the Meaning, Purpose, and Benefit of Public Health Laws and How to Comply," and highlights approaches for states to work with local and Tribal jurisdictions to educate and enforce public health laws.
This 3-part webinar series, hosted by the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, (ASTHO) with the support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Center of State, Tribal, Local and Territorial Support (CSTLTS) will guide state health agencies on meeting the requirements of Domain 6: Enforcing Public Health Laws. This webinar series is intended for health agency leadership, accreditation staff, health agency legislative liaisons, health agency attorneys, state legislatures, and others involved in the development, education, revision, monitoring, compliance, and enforcement of public health laws.
