Object-Oriented Programming in IDL

Meeting Description:

Please join us for this one hour webinar to learn more about the capabilities of object oriented programming in IDL.  Object oriented programming can be viewed as a collection of interacting objects, rather than traditional procedural programming which is seen as a list of tasks. Real world entities are represented by these objects and can have specific behaviors and data. Applications are then a collection of objects passing messages.

Benefits of using objects in IDL include:

  • Increased efficiency and organization
  • Better scalability and reusability
  • Easier to translate application requirements into modules
  • More intuitive modeling of real world entities

No previous experience with IDL is required and all skill levels are welcome.  Pre-registration is required.
