This TeamSTEPPS Introductory Webinar is a pre-meeting, onboarding presentation especially for those interested in attending the two-day TeamSTEPPS® Master Trainer Class scheduled for Jan. 29-30, 2019, in Pensacola, FL. In addition, others interested in learning more about TeamSTEPPS and becoming a Master Trainer are welcome to attend this webinar.
This introductory webinar presentation by our Master Trainers from Duke University Health System will include:
- An overview of what TeamSTEPPS® is all about, and who should participate in the training
- The use and value of TeamSTEPPS® in the clinical setting for improving patient safety and safety culture
- How to develop an implementation plan to roll out the training in your hospital
- Participants registered for the Master Trainer Class will be encouraged to develop an implementation plan for TeamSTEPPS® prior to attending the in-person training.
Suggested webinar audience: All clinical professionals who are interested in developing and implementing the TeamSTEPPS® tools at their hospital should attend. Appropriate to all clinical areas especially areas handling critical patient situations, such as surgical services, intensive care units, emergency departments and obstetrics.
