NEW & Trending! State, County & City Minimum Wage Increases Continue

Meeting Description:

Because the federal government hasn’t raised the minimum wage rate since July 2009, more than half the states and dozens of cities have bumped up their minimum wages. And most of these states and cities have mandatory posting requirements.

Looking forward, it is unlikely Congress will make a move on the federal minimum wage, which will likely stimulate more state and local activity. Right now, about half the states and hundreds of cities have at least one bill pending that will impact minimum wage rates in 2018 and beyond.

What you will learn:

  • Recent state and local minimum wage changes
  • What minimum wage changes are coming in 2018 and beyond
  • How to stay on top of all these changes when it comes to posting compliance
