Are Hybrid Clouds Ready for Scalable OLTP?

Meeting Description:
We all want to experience the benefits of cloud computing… from better utilization of existing equipment to leveraging low-cost, pay-as-you-need commercial infrastructures, cloud computing is quickly becoming an important consideration for new application architectures.

This webinar presents an architecture for scalable OLTP applications in distributed environments. Here’s what you’ll learn:
  • Why depending on a single database can result in disastrous results
  • Why 2-phase commit protocol fails to scale
  • The value of in-memory data grids combined with persistent storage
  • Key requirements for OLTP applications running in distributed architectures

Who should attend:
  • Chief Architects
  • Database Designers
  • Software Engineers
  • Directors and CIOs
