The Community HIV/AIDS Technical Assistance and Training Center (Planning CHATT) invites you to attend Recruitment and Retention of New Members on January 16, 2019 mat 2:00-3:30 PM ET.

The Planning CHATT Recruitment and Retention of New Members webinar will help PC/PBs learn strategies to improve PC/PB recruitment and retention of new members. The webinar will provide insights into the legislatively required membership categories, a recommended process for bringing on new members, and recommended best practices such as establishing consumer trust and effective, ongoing orientation throughout the year. The webinar will feature a panel discussion with Detroit EMA and Bergen-Passaic TGA in which the panelists will discuss their general approach to recruitment and retention of new members, challenges they have faced, and their most effective strategies to overcome challenges and build a strong and effective PC/PB.

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the uniqueness and value of PC/PBs
  • Understand the importance of PC/PB membership
  • Know the legislatively required membership composition for PCs
  • Identify three strategies to recruit new PC/PB members 
  • Identify two strategies to retain PC/PB members
